Cameron Kalajian is an independent filmmaker based in New York City.
He was named Best South East Asian Filmmaker by the Asian American Film Lab for his short, They Meet At Night, and Best First Time Director by the New York Cinematography Awards. He is featured in and on the cover of IndieWrap’s first book, SHORT FILMS: A Non-Exhaustive List of Highly Creative Shorts, highlighting his directing and 3-time Best Actor award winning performance as Kostya in Mint. His TV pilot, Year of the Rat, chronicling life in New York City’s Chinatown during the rise of anti-Asian hate crimes, is currently in development. He is a graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television.
