Cameron Kalajian (he/him) is a queer mixed-Filipino first generation transracial adoptee (say that 10 times fast!) and indie filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.
His filmmaking is inspired by directors Andrew Haigh, Steve McQueen, and Ari Aster.
Cameron’s films often explore BIPOC identity, the immigrant experience, the LGBTQ psyche, and male vulnerability.
He is the recipient of numerous Best Director wins and nominations.
He is also a 3-time Best Actor award winner for his performance in Mint.
He is a graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and TV.
He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
Outside of his own films, Cameron directs an online interview series for Different & Able, a non-profit that seeks to demystify and destigmatize physical and mental health disabilities.
